Hina Khan on documenting her cancer journey on social media

When asked if documenting her cancer journey on social media was a conscious call, Hina Khan said, “The idea behind everything I have documented so far—let me tell you, it’s not even 1% of my journey—there is so much more to share. Trust me, there are countless motivational stories and experiences I want to talk about on social media or elsewhere. Whenever I feel ready, I will. Everything I have shared so far has been a conscious decision. Every video has a story or incident behind it. It’s not just random reels thrown together. It’s all meaningful and intentional.”

Hina Khan on dealing with tough times

When talking about her tough times, Hina said, “There have been many such incidents during this journey, whether in my father’s time or my career. There have been many phases in everyone’s life where you face challenges. For me, stepping away from television and entering a new world took a lot of courage. It required giving up something so stable, you know.”

She added, “When you deal with hardships, you don’t have the choice to escape or avoid them. You have to face them. You might break, but eventually, when you feel ready, you pick up the pieces and move on. It’s you—nobody else—who breaks, cries, and needs time. I believe everyone should take that time to process their emotions, cry, or do whatever helps them heal. Even when you feel shattered, you have to pick up the pieces and keep going.”

Hina Khan on importance of work & passion

During the interview, the actress got candid about how she keep motivated . She said, “I motivate myself. My strength motivates me. And, of course, my family and my loved ones around me inspire me. I want to do a lot for them. I want to work hard and do as much as I can for them because that makes me happy. My work also motivates me a lot. For example, right now, even though I’m dealing with a lot of things, I’m here promoting my show. It’s my work, and it doesn’t feel like a burden. I enjoy it. I love dressing up, being here, doing my makeup, getting pictures taken, and talking to all of you in the media fraternity. It’s about exchanging good energy. Some people even shower me with gifts, and it feels so heartwarming. It’s fun and fulfilling.”

Hina Khan on collaborating with Chunky Panday

When asked about her recent collab with Chunky Panday, Hina answered, “It’s so much fun. I think the last time we met, I remember—it was so good! You haven’t shot a reel ever, but you nailed it, and that reel did so well! Also, with him, I feel we all can just remember to have laughed all the time on sets. He is a fun person. He and I would not have spared anyone on set to prank or mischief with. “
